Coloured Contacts Color Your World

If you’re in need of a little splash of spice in your life, then maybe coloured contacts are just the splash you need!

Let’s face it, we all find times in our life when we feel a little “blah;” a little dull, a wee-bit boring. Then it’s time, as the saying goes, to colour you happy! Instead of running out and dying your hair green, shaving your head, or getting a face tattoo, maybe you should try something a little less…permanent? And yet, at the same time, just as dramatic, and every bit as attention-grabbing.

Everyone knows that the eyes are the “windows to your soul.” Anyone who wants to know you looks into your eyes….and what do they currently see? A pale, lifeless shade of gray? Boring old brown? Habitual hazel?

Then shake things up by bringing some color into your life (and your eyes); with coloured contacts!

Coloured contacts are a great way to spice up your look because:

    • they aren’t permanent
    • they are very intriguing, mysterious, and mesmerizing
    • you can change your colors with your mood
    • you can be as subtle or as extreme as you want
    • they are easy to get
    • they are affordable!

Most major brands of contact lenses now carry a coloured contact line.  Freshlook color contacts are among the most popular, because of their patented “three-in-one” technology; which blends three colors together to create a natural, yet captivating, color. If you have light eyes and merely want to enhance them, then Freshlook offers three Enhancement colors. If you have dark eyes and/or want to completely change the color of your eyes, then the Freshlook Opaque contact lenses are best for you.

If, however, you want to get even a little bit crazier and make a bolder statement, then perhaps you want to get more wild contacts than tame! These days, you can venture into just about any color you want; you don’t have to stick to the age-old “brown, blue or green” choices. Choose from pink contact lenses, bright neon green contact lenses, and even purple contact lenses. Show the world your favorite color; or change your eyes to match your outfits!

Ok, ok, some of you want to push it even a little bit further?  Theatrical contacts push the envelope to the extreme! You can get cat-eye lenses with pupils that are shaped oblong like a cat’s; or release your inner animal with lenses that have patterns like a zebra, tiger, or leopard. There are glow-in-the-dark lenses that are perfect to wear to raves or to clubs. Maybe you want to enhance a costume for Halloween; choose from vampire contact lenses, zombie lenses, and just about any other wacky contact lenses you can dream (or should I say, “nightmare”?) up!

So how spicy do you want to get? There aren’t any limits to how subtle or extreme your coloured contacts can get; and it’s all up to you. But be careful, they are addicting; you won’t be able to stop with just one pair!
