How to Get a Free Sample of Contact Lenses
When looking for the perfect contacts, it's best to find a free sample of contact lenses you are interested in so you can “try them on” first.
You see, contact lenses are not a “one size fits all” kind of product. Contact lenses need to fit your specific eye perfectly; otherwise you will experience discomfort and imperfect vision. Many people who have bad luck the first time they try on a contact lens give up on contact lenses forever, insisting that “contacts just aren't for me.” That is like trying on one pair of jeans and, if they don't fit perfectly, giving up on all jeans forever! In the same way that a certain pair of jeans might fit your friend perfectly but aren't quite what you want, contact lenses fit different people differently. That is why it is best to find a brand you think you are interested in, and then get a free sample of contact lenses from that specific brand. Then, you can try them out to see how they fit; or, better yet, try two pairs to compare! But how do you get a pair of free contact lenses? It's not as easy as just clicking a button online and having them sent direct to your door. On the other hand, it's really not that difficult either! Follow these simple steps:1. Take some time to really research. Different contact lens brands offer different benefits. Some promote the fact that their lenses help with dry eyes; others are built to repel deposits and irritants. Some are tinted to find them easier in the contact lense solution; others offer UV protection for people who spend a lot of time outdoors. 2. When doing your research, keep in mind whether you need any type of specialty contact lenses. If you need eyeglasses to read, then you might need multifocal contact lenses, which are like bifocal glasses in a contact lens. If you have astigmatism, then you need what is called a toric contact lense. Some brands specialize in these types of lenses, some don't offer them at all. 3. Once you've found a couple of contact lens brands that you are interested in, look for sites that offer a free sample of contact lenses. You will have to fill out a simple form with your information, and then they will email or “snail mail” you a certificate. 4. You then must redeem this certificate at an eye doctor's office when you make an appointment to get a prescription. This is required by law, since contacts are considered to be medical devices they must be “administered” by a doctor with a prescription. 5. Keep in mind that not all eye doctors honor all trial sample certificates. Call ahead to make sure they'll honor your certificate for a free sample of contact lenses. Also, see if they will offer two trial pairs of contact lenses; that way you can compare two brands and see which one you like better.
If you follow these five simple steps, you will see how easy it is to compare lenses by getting a free sample of contact lenses; which will help you find the perfect pair for you!
