In years past, people who have astigmatism were told that they could not wear contact lenses. PC is short for “phosphorylcholine,” which is a naturally occurring substance found in human cells. The lenses utilize this substance by absorbing water, keeping them moist and resistant to dehydration as well as protecting them from dust and other irritants. This, in turn, allows you to wear them comfortably and with clear vision for up to twelve hours.
