Special Contact LensesThere are many different reasons why people need special contact lenses. After all, when it comes to something as personal and as important as your vision, it just makes sense that we all have different needs. 
Some people need special contact lenses because they have an eye condition that causes problems with contact lenses. This is because lenses need to be “fitted” specifically to your eye; otherwise ill-fitted contacts can lead to infection, eye damage, and even blindness. If you find a site that says you can order contact lenses without a prescription, they are either misleading you or are breaking the law. What they might intend to say is that you can order their special lenses even if you don't need vision correction.
