Wild Contacts Create a Crazy Look

wild-contacts

If you feel like changing your look and shaking things up, wild contacts can be a great way to do it. And, unlike getting a tattoo or a daring new haircut, you can always change your mind on days you just aren’t in the mood!

Of course, which contacts you choose will be determined by what you consider to be “wild.”

Everyone has their own definition of what it takes to get crazy; and only you can know what look is within your comfort zone. Some people are being rebellious if they wear a brightly colored shirt; others aren’t happy until people stop in their tracks to stare.

If you’re the type who just wants a subtle change, then you might be happiest with Freshlook color contacts. Freshlook specializes in contacts that blend in with your natural eye color.

By using their patented 3-in-1 technology, three colors blend together to create the most natural change in your eye color.

You can choose from the more natural colors such as brown, blue, or green contact lenses, or you can go a little edgier with gray, violet, or super bright blue.

If, however, you’re more of the “make them stop and stare” kind of person, than you might need a little bit more “wild” to your wild contacts.

Special effect contacts can change the entire look of your eye. Originally used in Hollywood as movie contact lenses, these contacts are now used in theater, for Halloween costumes, or for every-day attention-seekers who just like to stir things up a bit.

Here are just a few examples of the wild contacts that are available today:

  • cat-eye pupil
  • zebra, tiger, or leopard print
  • blooshot
  • black sclera contact lenses, which cover your entire eye in a liquid pool of black (used most often for a zombie look)
  • white contact lenses (used most often for a gothic effect)
  • red contact lenses (used most often for vampires)
  • a spiral, to create a 3-D effect
  • bright green, lizard eyes

And, for the right price, some suppliers will even turn your own design into a lens. There literally is no limit to what you can do!

Of course, if you have a strong prescription or astigmatism, you might be limited on some of the designs; although there are still many options for you to find your perfect contacts for you.

Many of the wackiest lenses are only available without vision correction or other special considerations; since they are usually used only for theatrical purposes.

While there are many companies out there who offer fun contact lenses, you need to be cautious when choosing your supplier.

Many of the theatrical lenses cover your entire eye, and choosing a cheap, unreliable brand can cause damage to your eyes and your vision.

Stick with a reliable, well known company such as WildEyes, which is a division of CIBA Vision. Only then can you ensure that your wild contacts are as safe as they are fun!
